System Monitor (KTimemon) is a small program to keep track of your computer's system usage. It displays bar graphs representing CPU, memory, and swap usage. If you hover your mouse pointer over the System Monitor graph, a tool-tip will appear containing numeric information about the system parameters displayed by the bar graphs.

To install:

  1. Install kicker-applets package with Synaptic.
  2. Right-click on kicker and select "Add Applet to Panel..." -> select "System Monitor".

To configure:
Right-click the System Monitor graph, and select Preferences. For details, see this page.
