Use a second Apple ID on your iPhone.
- Log out of iCloud on your main device for “Find My”.
- Create a new Apple ID, sign in only for iCloud and Find My on that same phone.
- Share this new account location with people instead of your real one.
- When you want to “pause”, log out of the new ID.
Your phone works. Find My shows last location, not live tracking.
